In the past, when I sent agenda invites to others via Outlook on Windows 10, and especially when I used Microsoft Teams invites, I sometimes received complaints from invitees; they saw only Asian looking characters.
When I used Outlook Web Access or Outlook for Mobile though, invites were always in English, as usual.
How to fix this?
- Go to the ‘Control Panel’
- Go to ‘Region’ settings
- Click on the ‘Administrative’ tab
- Uncheck the box ‘Beta: Use Unicode UTF-8 for worldwide language support’.
- Restart the machine when asked (or do this later).
